Friday 09/08/17 Feeder Sale

 

Here this past Friday was our kickoff to the 2017/2018 Special Fall Roundup Feeder Cattle schedule..

It was a great day as many Buyers and Sellers alike came out to put together a really nice sale and enjoyed Ribeye Steak  Sandwiches with all the fixin's as a token of our appreciation here at Bloomington Livestock for all your efforts throughout the year to sustain us as the leading livestock auction market in the upper Midwest.. 

We had a really nice run selling 1,709 cattle on a market that was quite a bit higher than two weeks ago... The demand was very aggressive on all classes of properly handled, nice quality cattle and there were plenty to choose from as we saw many reputation bunches of Holstein Steers and Colored cattle here today.. 

It was a pretty light test on New Crop Beef Calves but the demand was definitely there for the properly handled calves...

Don't forget we are now on the new Special Roundup  Sales Schedule so we will be alternating weeks on the Beef and Holstein Sales.. This coming Friday September 15th will be our Special Fall Roundup All Holstein and Dairy Cross Steer Sale starting time 9:00am sharp!!
