Friday, March 1st, 2019 Beef Feeder Market Report

Results from the Special Winter Roundup New Crop Calf / Yearling Sale Friday March 1st..

Here this past Friday we had a really nice run of cattle selling 2,222 head on a market that was pretty much steady all the way around. There may have been some strength in the bigger cattle but we're gonna call it steady..
Understandably,  the cattle definitely have picked up some tags through these roller coaster type weather conditions which is expected but they were very presentable considering all..
So the market sure appears to remain in good hands moving forward as the light cattle become fewer and fewer each week and the bigger are coming in more numbers..
The next Big Special Back to Grass Roundup New Crop Calf / Yearling Sale in two weeks Friday March 15th starting time 9am sharp. This sale will feature many long strings of the best of the best!!
Don't forget the Special Back to Grass Roundup Holstein Steer/ Dairy Cross Feeder Cattle Sale this coming Friday March 8th starting time 9am sharp.

Then following on the next day Saturday March 9th starting time 12 Noon sharp will be our Big Spring Bred Beef Cow/Heifer Sale in which we are expecting 1,000 or more High Quality Females with many complete dispersals in this sale.
Thanks again to all Buyers/ Sellers alike who came together for another nice sale.
