Saturday November 24th Holstein / Dairy Cross Sale

Results from Saturday November 24th Holstein/Dairy Cross Feeder Sale

This Saturday we had a nice run of Holstein/Dairy Cross cattle with 838 head sold.  We did not see a lot of lighter weight cattle to give a good test.  What we did see was a softer market on 750# cattle and down while the heavier cattle held steady.  We had a really nice crowd with good participation.

Note:  With Dec & Jan right around the corner, it is important to keep these thin Holsteins from taking it in the chin.  If it’s possible, keep the cattle on a feed ration that will get them them out of the thin bracket. Don't be afraid to contact us we will do farm visits, to help market your cattle to their fullest potential.
