Friday November 16th Beef New Crop Calves/Yearling Sale

Results from the Special Fall Roundup New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale Friday November 16th.

Here this past Friday we a large run of cattle selling 3,138 head on a market that was steady to definitely lower compared to 2 weeks ago.
I will try to do my best to keep the ranges on all  as tight as I can and this report as informative as possible. But I must add it will be tough one to report compared to 2 weeks ago as some of the cattle will seem much lower compared to the last report with the November 2nd sale being frontend loaded with many, many larger and decent sized strings and this sale was filled with many little bunches.
There were many good cattle in this sale which sold very well with good demand on the cattle of high quality that were properly handled and in nice packages or bunches, but there was also endless singles and doubles all day that made the price range so wide on equal quality quite wide.
The Improperly Handled, Lower and Off Quality cattle were a much tougher sell and will continue to be for a while.. It really pays big dividends to keep good cows and bulls that produce a calf that everyone wants.  The beef industry continues to improve in quality and we must produce the same to compete..
If you ever want opinion on how to increase quality and pounds  give us call as we regularly place high quality bred  cows/heifers that can replace those lower producing cows and at an affordable price.  We are here to help improve the beef industry and your bottom line, so please feel free to give me a call anytime.
At that, the overall quality in this sale was good and included an ocean of high quality cattle,  just in smaller packages ..
