Results from the Special All Beef Fall Roundup New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale Friday September 22nd..
Here this past Friday we had a really nice run of colored cattle selling 1,232 cattle on a market that was defintely stronger on the new crop calves and very strong and aggressive on the yearlings of high quality.. We didn't have a large run of new crop calves to give it a real solid test but all indicators point toward plenty of interest moving into calf season..
As the old crop yearling cattle off grass continue to dwindle and have become nearly non existent in certain parts of the country that end of the market was red hot for the large strings of green yearlings off grass that were of high quality.. And the sale was loaded with reputation cattle..
The next Special All Beef New Crop Calf/Yearling Fall Roundup Feeder Cattle Sale will be in 2 weeks from today, Friday October 6th ..
