Results from the Special Fall Roundup New Crop Calf/ Yearling Sale Friday October 19th ..

Here this past Friday we had a nice run of New Crop Calves as we enter calf season while the yearling runs are dwindling quickly..

Selling 1,681 head on a market that was steady to higher on the New Crop Calves as the calf run goes into full swing.

The Yearling cattle were steady to lower with a more limited availability than we've been seeing the past 2 months, the quality was good , but the yearlings are certainly drying up quickly.

Demand was sure good all the way around though on the cattle of high quality and properly handled.

The improperly handled and plainer type cattle are a tougher sell and will continue to be as we roll into big numbers of high quality calves..

But in all the market appears to be in good shape..

Don't forget in two weeks, Friday November 2nd, will be our first Big Special PAPA Alliance Blackhided New Crop Calf/Yearling Sale starting time 9am sharp, please call ahead with consignments.

This coming Friday October 26th will be the Special Fall Roundup Holstein Steer/Dairy Cross Feeder Cattle Sale starting time 9am sharp.
